Flora splayed in iridescent errant array
Dancing in sweet summer scented fair
Pleading to interact and by all admired
In resplendent mother nature's sway
Lighting and painting fields in gardens lair
Water and oil paints stroked on the canvass of nature's reign
Silent yet speaking in myriad shapes colours vibrantly shared
Ambiance of outdoors beautifully caught so remains
Lifting moods of all who survey
Perfume drifting on air so pungent so sweet
Their purpose to delight for a seasons whisper sustained
Greeting all with open petals as if to smile
A reminder of mother earths forces in delicate coats
Harnessed then fading at the end of summers dial
Bees propagate their stigmas to denote
That without which our vegetation surely would die
Flora fauna the silent perennial knights
Upholding foliage strikingly alight yet sighing ever lithe
