Yet another long day to keep your ever distance

Anchored and unmovable at bay

I reach beyond the moon perchance

Ever hopeful to see you then touch you in romance

This time no refusal to stay ....life enhanced

Yet the silence you coldly bequeathed me

Is deafening beyond compare

My vivid unceasing thoughts ever increase

In the depths of my lucid untethered mind to dare

To tease with the loss of our conversation so long to bear

My wounded heart doth hourly tear

Remembering the silken melting touch you gave

Haunts and stokes a burning desire

In the depths of physical need

All the while having to stave passion's raging fire

Til once again bereft can do little else

To survive yet another interminable hour

Meandering through the labyrinths of my mind

Where I meet you at every thought and memories cruel or kind

Till all passionate thoughts lull me into sleep's bind

Laying in the embers of a love so magnetised

To where two souls can entwine

Into euphoria's ecstacy so tenderly sweet.... succulently sublime
