Slipping into darkness life no longer in sight
Laid with lonliness, love out of reach..........
Silence a spite
Wide eyes seeing only what isn't there
Longing to be sightful bringing all to bare
Teasing all wantedness with a defiant dare
Conjuring up only a lucid image
Across the blackness of the mind
The ghost of someone never really there
So lying in stillness, grief the partner ever
Slumbering into the deathness of sleep
The haven from all unfulfilling desire
Awakening to re-live the solitude
Yet the incessant flame of hope
Burns a beacon of light, brighter than ever......
Back.........Into The Night.......Forever............Forever.......
