SKYLARKED

Peppered Grey White Canopied Blue Horizon
Skylarked by birds crossing sky's thoroughfare
Amidst sun shards unmissable radiant light
Vista slowly changing its backdrop sky
Watching curiously delighting human eyes
Each second minute hour and day
The canvass morphs and surprises
Natures magic its so ever brilliant devises
Then dusk dawns a black velvet drape remains
Glossied with sparkles and angels their home stars aflame
Whoever questions God's presence in all of this
Surely missing not seeing in all its glorious bliss
Is truly folly and absolute remiss
Sever not your soul from connection to God
As you may feel rudderless on your way
Solely without hope and fearfully emptily trod
